Hello everyone! My name is Deng Jiahua! If I had to describe myself in one sentence, I would say: “Just give me a kitchen, and I can turn ordinary ingredients into a dish that makes you want to keep eating!” My biggest passion is cooking. To me, cooking isn’t simply about filling your stomach every day. It’s a form of enjoyment, a creative process, and a way of expressing care and affection toward others. I’ve always loved exploring food. Whenever I try a delicious dish, my first thought usually isn’t, “Where can I buy this?” Instead, I immediately wonder, “How exactly did they make this?” From choosing the right ingredients and figuring out the seasoning ratios to controlling the heat and cooking time, I enjoy paying attention to every little detail. Sometimes, I’ll experiment with a recipe over and over again, adjusting the ingredients and flavors until I finally create a version that I’m truly satisfied with. I especially enjoy trying different types of cuisine. Simple homemade dishes are no problem for me, but if someone wants an impressive feast, I’m up for the challenge too. Whether it’s frying, boiling, stir-frying, deep-frying, or baking, I’m always willing to give it a try. Even when I open the refrigerator and find only a few ordinary ingredients, I immediately start thinking, “What can I create with these?” Sometimes, when inspiration strikes, I’ll even come up with my own unique combinations. The most rewarding part of cooking for me is seeing the satisfied expressions on people’s faces when they eat my food. When someone finishes a dish and says, “Wow, this is seriously delicious!”, it makes me even happier than enjoying a great meal myself. I believe the true value of cooking isn’t simply whether something tastes good. It’s about whether the food can bring warmth, happiness, and a memorable experience to the person eating it. Of course, not every dish I make turns out perfectly on the first try. Sometimes I add too much salt, sometimes I don’t control the heat properly, and occasionally I end up creating some hilarious “experimental dishes” that are definitely not going on a restaurant menu! But I never let failure stop me. Instead, I treat every mistake as a learning experience, remember what went wrong, and try to improve the next time. To me, the kitchen is like a small creative studio. The spatula is my paintbrush, and the ingredients are my colors. Every time I stand at the kitchen counter, I get to enjoy the creative process while transforming simple ingredients into something warm, delicious, and meaningful. I’m Deng Jiahua, someone who loves cooking, enjoys exploring food, and finds happiness in bringing joy to others through every dish I create. So if you ever come to my house, don’t ask me, “What are we having today?” Because I’ve probably already started cooking—and whatever ends up on the table might be a surprise even to me! 👨🍳🔥 |
