Autobiography

I’m someone who loves creating beautiful things with my hands and finding inspiration in the little details of everyday life. To me, beauty doesn’t have to be extravagant. Sometimes, a handwoven piece, a thoughtfully styled hairstyle, or a simple accessory can beautifully express a person’s personality and tell their unique story.

My academic interests and professional expertise focus on handwoven art creation, weaving and fiber craft instruction, jewelry and accessory design, hair image consulting, and the study of hair-focused behavior. I enjoy exploring the relationship between materials, colors, and forms, and I find great fulfillment in transforming a single strand of thread into a meaningful piece filled with warmth and creativity.

For me, weaving is more than a craft—it is a way of connecting with myself. As each stitch comes together, my mind becomes calmer and more focused. Through teaching, I hope to share that sense of mindfulness and accomplishment with others, helping people discover handcrafting not only as a creative skill but also as a source of healing and self-expression.

Beyond textile arts, I am deeply fascinated by how personal appearance influences identity and confidence. Hairstyles, accessories, and overall styling may seem like external details, yet they often reflect our emotions, individuality, and sense of self. My research in hair image consulting and hair-focused behavior explores why people develop strong emotional connections to their hair, and how hair relates to memory, aesthetic preference, and psychological experience.

I believe that true beauty is not about conforming to a single standard—it is about discovering the version of yourself that feels the most authentic.

I’m delighted to meet you, and I look forward to inspiring others through creativity, research, and education while celebrating the subtle yet meaningful beauty that enriches everyday life.
